Sonar 2009
Sonar is an annual three-day festival for music and digital art held in Barcelona every June. During the day the festival is focused in the centre of the city at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània (CCCB) and the Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA); it consists of a diverse programme that includes concerts, DJs, multimedia art, record and clothes fairs, technology demos and the Sonar cinema.
At night the festival is located away from the centre and features a variety of names from the world of electronic music, which this year includes Grace Jones as the headline artist.
This year the Sonar festival will take place between June 18th and 20th.
