Barcelona hotels – Mandarin Oriental set to open this month
Barcelona’s latest luxury hotel will open on 26 November 2009 on Passeig de Gràcia.
The Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona is the group’s first in southern Europe and its location is ideal for tourists and business people alike, being close to the business district and well within walking distance of sights such as Gaudí’s Casa Batllo and La Pedrera.
The mid-20th century building has been refurbished to the high standard expected of a 5-star hotel and guests staying in one of the 98 rooms will have a choice of restaurants, spa and rooftop pool.
