Barcelona hotels – Barri Gòtic

The Barri Gòtic is the area located within the walls of the old city of Barcelona. A maze of narrow streets and passageways, the area was once quite run down, but has long been a must for any visitor to Barcelona.

With so many of Barcelona’s attractions in this area – the Picasso Museum and the cathedral are just two of them – it makes sense to find a hotel situated here and away from the hustle and bustle of the Ramblas, which at many times of the year is overly touristy. Neri Hotel Barcelona

The Neri was originally a small palace, which dates back to the 18th century. Right next to the cathedral, the rooftop terrace overlooks the rest of the barri Gòtic.
